[15:12] <titus.tallang> so i have this really weird technical mechanics question
[15:12] <titus.tallang> that maybe @ccp_larrikin could answer (i'd puzzle it out myself, but sisi isn't available for testing of the sort atm due to alpha clones)
[15:13] <ccp_larrikin> hit me
[15:13] <titus.tallang> when you launch a ship from a capital's ship maintenance bay
[15:13] <titus.tallang> right click -> launch ship
[15:13] <titus.tallang> it gets launched into space under your ownership
[15:13] <titus.tallang> what state are fitted modules on that ship in
[15:13] <titus.tallang> e.g.: i launch a plated ship - does it have the extra HP from the plate?
[15:14] <titus.tallang> if yes - how does this interact with fitting resources? say i fit a plate that can only stay online due to power grid management skill; what happens if i launch this ship? does the plate go offline?
[15:14] <ccp_larrikin> I'm not sure. I think all the passive modules that where online last time the ship was boarded will still be applying. I suspect nothing will go offline untill somone boards the ship.
[15:14] <ccp_larrikin> I'll ask though
[15:14] <ccp_larrikin> why...what trixie thing are you trying to do?
[15:14] <titus.tallang> because i just blew up a few rookie ships launched from an orca on tq
[15:15] <titus.tallang> and it seems that plates don't apply, and (this is really wierd) neither do _rigs_
[15:15] <titus.tallang> which _shouldn't_ be able to go offline
